  • Best Carpet and Upholstery Stain Remover

Anyone have any recommended excellent carpet and Upholstery stain removers. I've used several and i'm not pleased with them. I'm just wondering what some of the best on the market are? Stains like coffee, wine, crayon, grease, and food stains?

My all time favorite is Meguiar's Quik Out Carpet Stain Remover. They quit making it but you can still find it around. I'm not sure if the foaming aerosol is the same formula or not. Maybe someone from Meguiar's will chime in. I scored about half a dozen bottles at Big Lots for like $2.50 a bottle last year.

Quik Out, which has been discontinued (in name only, really) is great stuff. It is currently available as Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner in our lineup. It comes as a foam spray so it's great to use on upholstery where you don't want to soak into the supporting material below the surface.

Of course, for more advanced cleaning we also have D106 and D116 in our Professional Line.

This is a Megs forum so i better mention their products first. I have not used their Tannin or protein removers yet because of the price but i have heard good things. Personally i use Folex full strength for spot treatment and diluted 4:1 for normal shampooing. Its cheap, about $14 for a gallon and available at locally at Lowes or Home Depot.
