    Wheel ClearCoat Removal

So the wife and I finally got another vehicle. Thankfully we can park our Trail Blazer SS now (with less than 65k on it!! woot!) Im going to be completely re-painting the vehicle to match my drag bike, and of course detailing the **** out of it. The only question I have now is ...WHEELS! they have very nice wheels from the factory (20s) i left them alone and just cleaned them while we were using it as a daily driver, but now that its going to be garage kept, and parked, Id like to remove the clear coat and polish the wheels.. Im not sure there is an "easy" way to do this. I thinking that once i get the clear coat off, i wont need to do a ton of sanding but that is yet to be seen. Any ideas?

Find a wheel refinishing service and talk with them. As said above, 'aircrart remover' is an option.

One thing for sure, the CC on wheels is one tuff mother.

Lets us know what you decide...

i was thinking air craft remover is what you guys were gonna say. I really hate to put it on the aluminum though. Butttt.. thats what we used on motorcycle frames back in the day, so hey, it will probably work.
