    Ultimate polish

Polished my brand new 2012 car with yellow pad about 1 week ago. Did not have time to apply wax with blk softpad. Can i repolish again using the yellow pad or would this be bad. I will be using a dual action polisher.

Yes you can re-polish again using the yellow pad but since you only did this a week ago, I don't see any benefit from doing so especially if you already polished out all the imperfections. I would suggest that you just wash your car again and apply the wax after.

Did you use a clay bar prior to polishing? If not, you may consider doing so as rail/brakedust can contaminate even a new vehicle paint job. Then, top it with a quality wax like Ultimate Liquid Wax or NXT 2.0.

If you missed some things, wont hurt to go over it again, then wax.

By all means, go over the car again with UP. Just make sure to fully wash and dry the car first, and you definitely want to make sure you fully wax it this time around. The polishing oils left by UP won't last very long on their own so locking them down with a good wax is critical. In a way, this is probably a good situation for you though since, as you say, you could have done a bit better job in some places. This way you'll clean those spots up and you won't have to worry about stripping off all the wax you applied last week because, well, there isn't any!
