Need help!

How would I get rid of this? I rubbed a clay bar on it but this greyish stuff was left behind. It has been there since I bought the car.

Did the clay pull any black/gray stuff off?

Can you feel the spots, or are they etched down into the paint?

it is smooth to the touch, but yeah it seems as if it is ground in to it.

Sounds like it could have been some sort of tar perhaps. If it was just me, I think I would be intrigued to try out TarX on it.

You would want some kind of paint cleaner after, possibly Ult. Compound.
