Word is Ultimate Wax does a real nice job on black. Keep in mind polish plays a huge factor in making the paint look deep, glossy, etc... May want to use Ultimate Polish then Ultimate Wax for the deepest, clearest look possible
Always searching for the best....Keep it country!

2nd the Ultimate wax, plus nice durability. GC + is nice too, but won't last as long.
Prep work is important... claying, clean/polish.. then a good wax.

Its kinda like asking everyone at the bar what their favorite beer is
some people like different beers
there are different beers for different price ranges
some have certain things that other ones dont
the same applies to waxes/sealants
I would suggest starting with something like Ultimate Wax
Well the car is my 2010 fusion its not really rough feeling or in need of claying just a polish and wax used turtle wax black box today it looks pretty good but not as good as my old mustang did when I waxed it using Meguiars wax
Use #6 cleaner wax, works great the camaro in my avatar was finished with.
Even the best cars look like junk when they are not clean
I have a dark gray 2010 fusion and I used M83, M09, M26 when I first got it. Really made it look deep and wet. With good washing technique and M26 every 4 months or so (clay when needed), it still looks great.
This is my first black car I've detailed all my other cars for years and my families and friends vehicles but no black ones lol
As Murr said above...PREP is the secret.
The final 'wax' main job is to protect the finish. Yes, there is some gloss enhancement, but think protection first. The 'wax' is just the frosting on the cake.
