Thanks you guys! This is the least I could do for the ones that were not lucky enough to attend! Sad to not see any of you forum guys at the Meg's display. It was actually the 1st place I made a beeline to.

Some absolutely wild cars there - thanks for sharing!Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Originally posted by Detroit CC View PostThe Mercedes Gullwing is stunningly beautiful.
The interior was left pretty much bone stock, and the changes to the exterior, aside from the two tone paint job, really encompass only trim changes - the length of the front wheel eyebrows, the side strakes over the fender vents (that's a classic Foose touch, by the way), the chrome trim around the base of the car, and a bit of tucking of the bumpers (another Foose classic move). I believe the Rudge style wheels are also updates of his.
More fun ensued when the car arrived at SEMA and Chip noticed sanding marks and pigtails in the paint under the harsh lights of the convention center floor. The car was around the corner from the Ford booth where Derek Bemiss and crew were prepping vehicles as part of the usual Meguiar's/Ford/SEMA team. He approached Chip and asked if he'd like some help, so when Derek and the guys finished prepping the Ford booth they went over and ran the DA Microfiber System over the car to clean everything up. Chip was so thrilled with it all that he took the guys out to dinner that night.Michael Stoops
