I've washed my cars with this product over the years and it gives a wash with a difference. My present car is about 2 years old, dark cherry in colour (a maroon -like colour). What i've found is that the soft wash gel makes the finish far more glossy and smoother to the touch. The product is concentrated and a litlle creates alot of sudsing. Long term use has caused my car's finish to become deeper & darker as opposed to the lightening and fading which occurs in tropical climates. Even in bright & direct sunlight the colour holds its glossy appearnce due to this product's action. And last but not least it smells nice
