If the paint needs it, it needs it.

You could try the Polishing Compound first.

The Cleaner/Wax wont do much to remove swirls/marring, so you still may need both.

In the future, Cleaner/Wax followed by wax is a great detail.

So after all of your helpful advice, I'm finally going to start detailing my car tomorrow (wash, dry, clay, rubbing compound, cleaner wax, gold class liquid wax), but i just realize another problem..my car is parking outdoor since I'm living on my own in a small apartment, and I know that I'm not gonna be able to finish all those steps in one day, so i will have to leave my car out there overnight....i was thinking if it is okay to use the ultimate quik wax after clay barring, let it sit outside for one night, and then i will start with ultimate quik detailer the next day before polishing....

No need to use the UQW in beteen. Just QD or UQD in the morning.

Just in case, UQD is not for claying.

Wash / Clay is pretty quick, hopefully can try out some polishing while at it.
