LOL, My first job, back in the late 50's was working for an old codger who owned a limo service. I washed and detailed his fleet. He never allowed any wax on these vehicles and only used a bit of kerosene in a bucket of water. Wash and buff dry. Back then cars in the northern climates would rust out in a matter of a couple years. His cars never did. He claimed that the kerosine would get into the cracks and crevices a wax could not and thus prevent any rust from starting. The limos were black and looked spectacular by the standards of that time. Damn, that was a long time ago.
