    makita 9227c rattle?

    Hi guys I'm a new mol user. Glad to be here. I'm a detailer from Indiana I am the senior paint correction person at the shop where I work. I recently bought a new makita 9227c from my matco dealer. When I took it out of the box and plugged it in and ran it I noticed it had a rattle to it when it would shut down and slightly while it was running. I was wondering if that was normal or if I should get it checked out. Just wondering if one of you guys had one and if yours had this same rattle.

    I don't hear a rattle with mine. Something sounds amiss.

      Mine doesn't make that sound either.

      Contact sales store and let them know about this problem or even go to them and let them look at/ listen to the buffer. If they're willing to exchange it I would go for it and check the new one before leaving the store.
