The other new products in my supply order included Gold Class Quick Detailer, Gold Class Quick Wax, and Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner.
Firstly, Gold Class Quick Detailer. I love that the smell reminds me of the other great Gold Class products. The product felt very similar to other quick detailers. However, I didn't find the paint particularly slick afterwards nor did it add THAT much depth compared to Ultimate Quick Detailer. The "feel" of the product seemed a bit different too. Don't get me wrong, I will happily use this product, but I just don't yet see much reason to use this over Ultimate Quick Detailer, when they are about the same price and actually because it's easy to find, Ultimate Quick Detailer will probably be cheaper right now. Another great detailer, just not my favorite YET, I will keep using it and see if that changes.
Gold Class Quick Wax - Very nice. You can certainly detect the higher natural wax content in this product in both how it applies and the finish it leaves. However, even on my black car, I don't think it's that much better looking than Ultimate Quick Wax, which is of course the more premium product. I suppose on a black car for a show, this might be the better product as people are suggesting, but I find the application/removal the SLIGHTEST bit easier with Ultimate Quick Wax. Furthermore, if a daily driver, many are reporting longer protection with UQW. Therefore, I'd just save Gold Class Quick Wax for a very special occasion on a black car. I will report this! The slickness of Gold Class Quick Wax is VERY nice. I like this product! I think it's a tiny bit harder to remove than UQW and it may not last as long. Otherwise, no reason not to use this!
Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner seems to be a great product. If Meguiar's gets this to more resellers than NXT, people will fall in love with it, I hope! The smell is similar to NXT Glass, but not as strong perhaps. This gives me the "mental" idea that Perfect Clarity is very similar to NXT Glass, but the slightest bit weaker. It seems to perform nicely. The product seems to be cheaper than NXT Glass at many retailers. I will likely pay the extra $1.00 for NXT as I love NXT, and I don't want it to be discontinued! It served me great for years and I'm loyal, but Perfect Clarity seems right up there too!
Overall, it is clear that Meguiar's isn't stopping developments anytime soon! These were all extremely interesting and competent new products. We have a lot more to reach for during our car detailing. These are some of the best products out there, and I am very excited about them!
