    Hi Guys,

Rained all day Monday, came down pretty hard too.

Water beaded up nicely. Couldn't compare it to UQW, honestly, I'd be splitting hairs.

I'm going to wash it tomorrow with some Gold Class, get that mud off. I'll let you know how the finish feels after this rainstorm, and a wash.

Thanks for the write up, Mark! Of the three consumer QWs we now offer, Quik Wax, Gold Class Premium Quik Wax and Ultimate Quik Wax, the Gold Class will provide the greatest level of darkening on darker colors, which is why we stress that on the packaging. Obviously your experience proves a point we've been making for years - if you can make black look good, you can make anything look good!

Hi all. You may have seen these photos in the Consumer Line section, in the thread "Topping Silver with Gold Class". Figured this was an appropriate place to post them as well. Washed with Gold Class today and applied some more GCQW.

Before applying more the car still felt a little slick. It had been through a rain storm and a wash.

Looks great and thanks for the update!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

    Not yet.

I already have heaps of QW in my cupboard. I will still give this a shot but I'll wait till I need a few other items and place an order then.

Excellent review, just a few questions.
    1. Does it have the water beading effect when you apply it?
    2. Will it stain if it hits any plastic or something on the car thats not the actual body? Similar to the liquid GC for example.

Thabks for the review, cant wait to get my hands on one!

Yes, does have the typical water beading you would expect from a carnauba wax, but it is not a hydrophobic product like Ultimate Quik Wax, Ultimate Quik Detailer, Ultimate Wax or NXT 2.0

You'll be pleased to know that it will not stain plastic or vinyl trim, so no worries there.
