    another horrible car

I think this was the week of just horrible cars... this Toyota Celica was dropped off to get a full interior detail and " only a wax " on the outside. yea right. the outside of this car I don't think has been washed or waxed since 2000 when it was made! After explaining to the owner just waxing the car would not make the scratches go away and give them the look they wanted, they just let me have at it!

    the outside correction process was:

    Meguiars Microfiber DA compound
Meguiars m205 on a black lake county cc pad
Meguiars tech wax 2.0 on a blue lake county cc pad

    AFTER

i still dont know what was up with the sun roof ! it wasnt glass, it was plastic yet factory :

    thanks for viewing!

Geez, it looks like you repainted this car! What a mess it was to start with - was there any fur left on the dog that apparently coated the carpeting?

    Yuck... the poor Celica.
You did a great job making the car looks like new.

Great turnaround. Sometimes when a car is like that one was and you clean it up it even looks worse, because then you can see how extensive the damage. However, you recovered this one quite well. I was sneezing just looking at that picture of the interior.

Nice job! What did you use on the interior to clean, protect and shine?

WOW that's an amazing turnaround!! Looks like a completely different car. You weren't using halogens but the difference is so apparent in your 50/50 shots! Great job!

What was the owner's reaction when they picked up the car?

The walls of the shop have 8 foot florescent lights running down them so I don't need to run around with the those halogen lights. Its makes working on the cars very easy! I was in shock when the owner came. She got dropped off by a friend and loaded up the car with a ton of bags of groceries that she had with her, a few children, looked at the car quickly and off she went! I dont think she really cared how it looked as long as the dog hair was gone !!!
