NXT okay on white cars?

Hi,

I just bought a bottle of NXT and was wondering if its safe to apply on a new car? the paint is crystal white * Lexus *

I read on some other forums that they experienced the white paint getting darker with NXT being applied.

Any info would be greatly apperciated.

Yes, you'll be fine putting NXT on a new car.

I've put NXT on my wife's white Camry and the paint looked great afterwards. I used #83 and #82 as the prep. I did it all in my garage and then pulled it out in the sun. It actually hurt my eyes to look at the car.

It's funny you should say it hurt your eyes. I started detailing my truck after joining this forum, it was overcast and I started by using clay, after that the sun came out somewhat and I started using DC paint cleaner. The paint was so clean I had to put on sun glasses because it was giving me a headake (sp). I'm waiting for the weather to break so I can polish and wax. I will keep the sunglasses close by!

That happens to me everytime I wash my white truck. Of course I've been know to wash it in the sunlight too. Ya think I'd wise up.
