  • New car paint damaged by irresponsible dealer! Warning when collecting new car

My buddy has been preparing& welcoming his new baby.... a black princess

Doing alot of goggling & detailing research...I specifically asked him to pick up this ride under a bright noon day sun.....

but due to his busy schedule.....he only managed to pick it at 11pm & by them time he reach home, just prior giving this baby a new shower....under his porch lamp......he discovered ...

lots of micro Marring & thousands of fine scratches all over the car....But how can it be ?

Obviously he is furious how can a new ride became like this. he take some sun light shot

    wow.....what are you seeing now

another discovery....holograms marks like buffing trials left on the car?????? why on a new ride??

    back bonnet

    WWYD??

    another evidence

residue of previous detail AKA polish wax

    what will you do??

    what can he do????
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

many would have accepted this as fate...but for one who has done a slightly more google of have join a detailing clinic would know.....

what happen ? this new ride actually passes through lots of hands & in the processes of delivery....I happen to find water spots on the glass & paint - obviously it is left park at open area...where dirts & contaminants. washes after washes through different distribution dealers & sub show room ....adds more fine scratches on the paint...

this damages is done by some irresponsible detailer or car wash guys..

Re: New car paint damaged by irresponsible dealer! Warning when collecting new car

It's so sad that many brand new vehicles already have defects (including 3-D effect) inflicted by people preparing them for customers' pick ups. Unfortunately to correct them requires paint removal on new factory coat (which are thin).

    Nice write-up, KC.

Another example of how quickly paint can be damaged even on a brand spanking new car. And another shining example of the fantastic work you do, KC! You're friend is very lucky to know you, and so is his car.

      By the way, this.....................

Wow, what a great turnaround KC.

That was actually a great paint job after you were finished with it. The lack of orange peel for a factory paint job is impressive!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Nice save KC! They marred up the paint so badly it looked grayish in the light of some of those pictures.

Wow!! That's some amazing work you've done their KC !

I happen to work at a GM dealership and the detail bay we have is a nightmare, too say the least. They use the same bucket full of wash water and a brush almost all day. We also have untrained people using rotary polishers to buff cars
