the customer ran over something but i cant put my finger on it. to clean inside the wheel wells i used degreaser at full strength with some brushes & that worked well. clay removed it from the rims. to make things worse, i had to be extra carefull removing the stuff form the side of the car because there were parts that had some clear wrap material. the stuff was thick & raised on the paint. i did first try some lq thinner but decided it was best to use up a few pieces of clay instead. what a frustrating mess!

i saved the front bumper for the end because i dont enjoy polishing clear bra material. i spent a good amount of time taping it up.
taping is easy & fun to me. its the soft material that i dont enjoy working with!

finishes down awsome with a blue pad. i use only detailers domain flat foam pads, hope thats ok to say on here lol.
bc of the extra amount of claying the camaro needed, that marked up the paint a bit so i went with the extra step for the entire car. i like to make sure i cover my arse with every job so sometimes you have to do a little more work than you want to.

i posted all the pics i have for this car.
i had a 2010 blue e60 hologram special waiting to be worked out under the halogens for a full correction. the 5 was waiting for me to finish the camaro. i didnt have time to take much pics during the detail.

Beautiful work, Andrew. Personally I'm curious as to what you used on the wheels since I recently put the exact same TSW Doningtons on my Crossfire and I've not had to do anything but wash them so far.

to clean them i dont remember but i would suggest a light citrus cleaner. you can use some rejex on the wheels to seal them. ive been using that for a few years. it can dust a bit after it dries so just mist some water on the wheel or spray wax to give them a final wipedown.
