Meguiar's sponsors Greg Biffle's #16 Roush-Fenway Ford Fusion at Phoenix this weekend

Today through Sunday, 11/13, Meguiar's is sponsoring Greg Biffle's #16 Roush-Fenway Ford Fusion at the NASCAR Kobalt Tools 500 Sprint Cup Race at Phoenix International Raceway. We're also sponsoring one of the ceremonial pace cars for the event; the car that will lead the parade lap when all the drivers are introduced to the crowd at the track prior to the race. Our own in-house graphics team designed the wraps used on both cars, with our man Brian Littler doing the work on this project.

Here's the Camaro ceremonial pace car, owned by Phoenix International Raceway, as seen outside our booth trackside the other day, with other pictures provided by PIR several days ago showing detail of the graphics around the car.











Here are a couple of early shots of Greg Biffle's race car in full Meguiar's livery as it's being prepared for practice.





We'll have more images up later as Brian will be trackside on race day, camera in hand. He should have some great shots. If you can make it to the track for the race Greg Biffle will be signing autographs at our big rig on Sunday morning. If you can't make it, the race will be shown live on ESPN so check local listings.

Just wondering if we will see the Meguiar's logo appear on Biffle's Sprint Cup car in NASCAR? Could be a really cool bit of advertising.

OK, our man Brian Littler, designer of the graphics for both the Camaro pace car and Greg Biffle's #16 Ford Fusion Sprint Cup Car, is back from Phoenix and he's brought some very nice pictures to share.

It was rainy in the days and even hours leading up to the race, but the skies cleared and the race went on as planned.

Not in the near future, no. We're in the very early stages of discussing possibilities for 2012 though.
