  • Just bought new car!

I just bought 2011 Rav4 in Pyarite Mica. Its gorgeous looking and now I am ready to get my car products ready to take care of my new toy and keep its new look car or maybe even make it look newer! Anyone have suggestions on what products I should get? I dont need 100 different products but I am looking for the best bang for my buck I guess. I just want a beautiful looking car without breaking the bank.

    Assuming no defects to remove,

    1. Wash - Gold Class soap, 2 buckets, Grit Guards, good towels/sponges.
    2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
    3. ColorX
    4. Wax - Ult. Wax, or Nxt 2.0
2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Don't sweat all of the choices out there, Meguiar's has you covered. Check out their Brilliant Solutions New Car Kit:

This package includes the following products:

        Wash: MF Wash Mitt
Ultimate Wash & Wax (16 oz)
Dry: Water Magnet MF Drying Towel
        Wax: Ultimate Wax (6 oz)
        Soft Foam Applicator Pad
        Supreme Shine MF Towel
        Tires: Endurance Gel (6 oz)
        Soft Foam Applicator Pad

The sizes of these liquids available individually are going to be much larger and probably too much product for you. Meguiar's figured this out and offers this kit with much smaller sizes that should last you long enough to familiarize yourself with proper maintenance.

Do yourself a favor and find it from one of the Meguiar's resellers though, they will always be cheaper than buying direct. My personal preference and many others on here is to buy from Auto Detailing Solutions (autodetailingsolutions.net), they have great service, prices, and have been around for awhile.

While you are waiting on products the suggestion made above on reviewing the steps to proper maintenance are good, Meguiar's has some very nice videos with tips and techniques to ensure you can maintain your car's appearance for many years.
