Gold Class Wash or Ultimate Wash & Wax Scents or Air Fresheners

I have never created a forum pole but here goes!

I love the Gold class wash scent! It is my overall favorite with UWW coming in second. Has Meguiars ever considered coming out with an air freshener with these scents? Just wondering where it could be used and the best presentation.

So where would you use an air freshener of one of these?

In all honesty, this isn't the first time this has been brought up. Heck, we once caught a group of guys sniffing our various products in the cabinets at a Thursday Night Open Garage session, discussing which ones they liked best and which scent would make for a good air freshener. So, crazy as it might sound, yes - seriously!!

And don't think we haven't toyed with the idea, either. It's doubtful we'd ever really pursue it with any, um, seriousness but you never know what could happen.

The smells of Meguiars products are fantastic.
i think it is the hot rims cleaner that smells like cream soda, so many times I wanted to see if it tasted of it too.

On a plus side, if it cleans your rims that good, imagine how shiny your teeth would be.


Note: obviously no seriousness is to be taken from this post and I do NOT recommend consumption of Meguiars products, but we all knew that didn't we.

I like Cleaner wax as well, it seems to have a chemical and vanilla smell to it. Bees love it. UQW has a nice fruit punch type of smell to it.
Has anyone had any problems with being attacked by bees, or flys landing on Meguiar's products while in use?
Bees seem to enjoy hovering over an open can of cleaner wax and prevent me from going near it, and flys seem to like the smell of UQW as much as I do as they land on my paint where I spray it on and wipe it off.

Did you know that Chemical Guys has a line of auto deodorizers? There are several fragrances to choose from but I am thinking of getting 'New Car Smell' or 'Leather'. There are others, but I don't think that 'Stripper' scent or 'Lime' are really to my overall liking. Whatever the heck 'Stripper' scent smells like. Maybe stale beer, cheap perfume and cigarette smoke? LOL

Funny you should ask that question about bugs. I use Meg's Ultimate Liquid Wax and after final buffing, bugs can't seem to stay away. There are times when I had to either blow them away or remove them physically with my fingers to finish buffing.

i've used gold class liquid wax for a long time and always looked forward to waxing just to smell it

Unfortunately, since Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere hit the market, I haven't used any of my Gold Wash. It doesn't say expressly on the label "Not recommended for use on your miniature poodles" so I'm guessing it would be OK. Maybe I should call the Meguiar's help line.
