Thanks for the great write-up and photos. Car does look great too!
Thanks too for including geese and verdure along with your photos. Although I must admit I didn't know what verdure was and had to look it up! Always something new to learn on MOL!

Great car! Why don't we here in the US of A ever get stuff like this? All Ford gives us is old fart 4 door sedans, even in the small hatches like the Fiesta and Focus. Fortunately, I have my Lightning to make up for it.

Yeah, Mike, the Boss is awesome! I wouild love one, but:
1. Lots of $$$$$$ for a guy on SS
2. Everyone has a Mustang.
Whatever happened to ideas like the SVT Focus?

Awesome work
Actually, this car is really a Sunday car. I've only done 2350 kms in the RS and I've owned it for a year now. I use a Fiesta as a daily driver. Here are a few more pictures that may be of interest to you.
Having used all of Meguiar's waxes, I think ultimate liquid wax has given me the most reflective shine of all. However, I used #26 on all the glass.
The diffuser has quite interesting aerodynamics because of the extra 3 air slots at the top
The front lights are one of the nicest looking designs of any car.

Great job. And awesome car (if only we got them in North America). I've seen a few reviews on Top Gear (UK) and they always seem to love it.

Hello everyone, I'm doing a follow up on my ultimate liquid wax experience now that I've used it for a second time. I'm the sort of car owner who would detail more for appearance than protection. Lol, I wax my car every 3 weeks because that is about as much dust and dirt build up I can endure on the RS. Anyway, I think ULW is an outstanding product and worthy of the Meguiar's name. It repels water with hatred, it really does! I thought the RS looked beautiful after the detail and the lines of the car were particularly well defined. In fact, it sparkled like a jewel in broad daylight, as good as the Focus RS in Forza 4. ULW has given me, what I think is, the definitive RS look. However, this won't stop me from using gold class wash and gold class carnuaba plus wax as I love this look too and I also like to vary the products I use to make things more interesting for me. I think I can live without NXT, but not without ultimate and gold class products. In effect, ultimate replaces NXT for me, but not gold class because every serious detailer loves the warmer carnuba look.
I do have one tip to share when using ULW. After you have applied ULW, and wiped it off, I'd suggest getting a new and clean microfibre towel and doing a final wipe to ensure, not only that the wax is thoroughly wiped off, but nicely buffed up as well. I think ULW doesn't wipe off so well if there is plenty of residue wax in the towel. Turning over the towel is an important part of the process. So I'd recommend two microfibre towels when waxing with ULW, with the second towel reserved for a final pass after ULW has been previously wiped off.
I always found taking a good picture of the rear spoiler difficult but this one is my best effort so far.
