The Water Magnet (or other good waffle weave style) is the one for drying.

The microfiber and the waffle weave are good choices. But like what Murr said, the waffle weave is better for drying the car.

Terry cloth towels will never touch my car. I'll only use them to clean my foam pads on the fly.

Remember to use lightly and blot the water spots. Extreme pressure is not needed and will contribute to marring or swirling.
