My PC7424 pads are too big. Is D300 or M105 as affective by hand application on my motorcycle?

M105 can work very well by hand in tighter areas, just start easily and work up on the pressure as needed. You can usually finish out really nicely too by easing way up on the pressure as the product thins out. D300 can be used by hand too, but it won't offer as much cut as M105 - which might actually be a good thing, depending on what you're trying to get out. D301 is a great follow up, again via hand application, to remove any light hazing you might get from either M105 or D300.
A great way to apply D300/D301 by hand is with the 3" microfiber discs affixed to an S3HP hand pad.

Same concept, but the S3HP is a much more robust piece designed to stand up to constant use. Both will accept 3" sanding/finishing discs, 3" microfiber discs as well as the 4" Soft Buff foam pads.Michael Stoops

I use both on my hood around the washer nozzles and a few other places where pads can't get enough cut or it's too tight and it finishes out pretty well. Microfiber or terry applicator or a finger in a microfiber towel with a light spray of QD and just a little D300 or M105.Comment
