  • How to wash the "washing mitt"?

    Hey guys,

I've used the washing mitt for several times, and its color changed to light brown.

So I put in the washing machine and added some arial, but the color still remained light brown. The instructions on the wahsing mitt's tag says not to use bleach, but can I use clorox to get that brown color off and get it back white as it came when it was new.

    Thanks

I had a similar experience as you. I washed my washing mitt on low and it came out about half as dirty as it once was (still quite dirty). I then put it into the washer again, this time on high and it came out in near new condition.
The mitt grabs dirt well, but tends to not let go of it as easily, try washing it on high.

We would still caution against the use of bleach to wash the mitt as it can be damaging to the microfibers. It is important to wash your wash materials, mitts and drying towels, after each use. We can only imagine what might be collectively trapped in that mitt when used in Kuwait since that environment is so dry and dusty/sandy.

We had the great good fortune to detail a 1959 Ferrari 250GT Coupe at RM Auctions in Monterey, CA last August. It had been lovingly restored 5 years prior and purchased by a gentleman in Kuwait who shipped it back home. It was amazing how much damage that car had suffered in just 5 years there.
