  • Moist polishing pads

    I use polishing pads to apply polishes etc to my car, but i was told to dampen them first, is that a good idea.

    Not required... some people like to just give a light mist of QD.

      Like Murr said its not required but I personally give mine a quick mist as I dont like the idea of buffing with a bone dry pad.

        That's what I do, it keep the dusting down.
        I never use a dry pad, I even mist the side of the pad.

          I also mist the pads a little and I feel that I get better results with less effort...
