  • Town & Country, Enclave, Venza, SRX

    2011 Toyota Venza.

Client is a weekly wash customer and I usually detail it twice a year. Through the course of the winter I washed it very carefully so there was very little marring, which is above daily driver standards. Weekly applications of Syn X-Press Spray Wax keep things nice as well.

Pretty much just washed/clayed, spot polished some areas with #205 - Ultra Finishing Polish and a white 5.5" LC pad on my PC and sealed the paint with #20 - Polymer Sealant.

    ========================================

2011 Buick Enclave, only has 3k miles.

Client purchased the truck at the end of last year and only ran it in the touchless wash a few times and he was waiting for a nice sunny spring day to get it cleaned/protected.

    Before:

Washed with Shampoo Plus & a Gilmour foam gun.
Lightly clayed with Detailing Clay (Mild) & ONR.
    Waxed/sealed with HD Poxy.
Tires/wells dressed with All Season Dressing
Glass was cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
Interior & jambs was given a premium wipedown & vac.

    ==========================================

    2009 Chrysler Town & Country, 60k miles.

I see this van twice a year, its is owned by two nuclear engineers who have a hard time making an appointment due to their busy schedule, and they obviously have no time to give it the proper care it needs either.

They pretty much always want a complete interior detail and whatever time allows for on the exterior/engine.

The van had not been washed in a very long time I was told as well.

    Befores:

    Exterior:

Pressure wash rinse followed by a foam pre-soak with my Gilmour foam gun & 8oz of Super Soap. Wheels, tires, & wells were cleaned with Wheel Brightener, All Purpose Cleaner & FS Purple Power.

During the wash I clayed the van with Detailing Clay (Mild) & ONR.
Paint was waxed/sealed with HD Poxy.
Tires/wells & trim dressed with All Season Dressing.
All chrome trim was polished with Hot Rims Chrome Polish.

The engine was washed/dried then dressed with Hyper-Dressing 2:1.

    Interior:

    Dry brush & vacumm.
Carpeting was spot treated with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
All interior surfaces cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner.
All interior surfaces were dressed with Quik Interior Detailer.
    Jambs were cleaned with ONR.
Glass recieved Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

    ==========================================

    2006 Cadillac SRX, 49k miles.

Client decided to go with a basic detail , which included one polishing step & sealant plus an interior detail.

    Befores:

    Exterior:

Washed with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner.
Clayed while wet with Detailing Clay (Mild) & ONR.
#205 - Ultra Finishing Polish, LC 5.5' white CCS pads using a PCXP.
Sealed with #20 - Polymer Sealant.
    Tires/wells dressed with #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.

Rear door polished, passenger door just washed/clayed.

    Afters:

    Interior:

    Dry/brush & vacumm.
Carpets/mats shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
All interior surfaces cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner.
All interior surfaces dressed with Quik Interior Detailer.
    Jambs cleaned with ONR.

    Before:

This was what most of the inside looked like too:

Dang Nick, great job on all of them.

What type of brush are you brushing the carpets with? I use the megs interior carpet brush that just fits in the palm of your hand but lately I have been wanting something else. Also what type of vacuum do you use or attachment on the hose?

They all look great, as usual! Question: What are you using on the black plastic in between the doors for protection?

Great job on this whole collection of vehicles! Love what you do to interiors and engine compartments. Of course, the exteriors are none too shabby!

Good job on all of them !
You're lucky, we still have about 3 feet of snow here in Quebec. My car looks like **** ! In fact, I did not even hand wash it since the Holidays... Only a rince down in mid-february. But thankfully, I was able to do the interior 2 weeks ago. I can't wait for all the snow to melt and the warmer temperature to arrive so I can start my summer week-end business.

A carpet brush I purchased from ADS a while back.

                      White handle, black bristles.

Using several different shop vacs if size and hp and I believe they are a Lowes brand one and the other one is from Sears but I cannot remember the brand.

I have many different attachments which include crevice tools.

I never wash my work truck in the winter.
