  • Wet sanding / polishing clear coat

Hello, I am going to attempt to wet sand and polish a new bc/cc paint job. The car was painted about 60 days ago. Trying to get as educated as I can before attempting. fficeffice" />

Yesterday I bought a wool pad and a tan foam pad. The paint store sold me Medium cut cleaner/polish, Swirl remover 2.0, and polymer sealant.

I plan on wet sanding with 1500, 2000, and then 2500.

Will these three products used in order get the rest of the job done?

    Thanks, Dave

Medium cut might not do very well taking out rougher sanding mark, unless you really sand off all 1500grit with finer sanding. Especially if are sanding by hand, try something stronger like M105 or M84.

I will be using the medium cut on a rotary buffer. There is not much talk on this forum about using the medium cut. This is my first time, so I don't want to be to aggressive.
