Question SwirlX - As a paint cleaner as well?

    Hi guys,

Last Sunday I decided to clay my car and the clay did not pick up much contaminants at all. My car is almost 6mths old. So it was good news.

The surface was smooth after that I followed up with SwirlX by hand on the entire car. While doing it I noticed that areas after applying SwirlX was really squeaky smooth while areas that I haven't gone to felt smooth but not as smooth compared to the SwirlX-ed areas.

Can it also be used as a paint cleaner while removing swirls at the same time?
Or must I use a dedicated paint cleaner like the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner? I find SwirlX was cleaning up the paint really good or was I hallucinating after tiring passes on the entire car?

    Please help.

'Cleaning' the paint involves 2 things... removing dirt, and if the product/application is strong enough, removing swirls or other defects.

So a product like Deep Crystal Cleaner is pretty mild, really will just remove dirt.

SwirlX is much stronger, so it will be able to remove the dirt, and also can remove some defects when applied with some passion/energy.

So yes, SwirlX covered both parts of cleaning, no need to follow up with another cleaner.

Thanks Murr1525! I followed the regime you recommended to me years ago.
    Clay>ColourX>NXT Wax
It was really good on all my daily drives.

Unfortunately I can't get ColourX over here anymore so it has been
    Clay>DC Paint Cleaner>NXT or M21 these days.

Could look around for #6 or #66 in any Pro shops there.
