    Whats the difference?

Ok, so I know the consumberl ine is the stuff like ultimate compound etc. but what is the proffesional line about? the stuff like mirror glaze etc. Because When I see the mirror glaze products and all those simple packaged proffesional line meguiars products with names such as 'meguairs hyper wash' etc. What is all this stuff? is it just something a ocmpany would use instead of the commercial named products?

    Thanks guys.

    Re: Whats the difference?

Generally speaking, professional line such as mirror glaze is body shop safe while consumer line is not.

Products like paint cleaners, polishes and waxes from professional line can be applied by rotary, while the products from consumer are not compatible with rotary.

Also, professional line are available in 1gal.

    Re: Whats the difference?

It’s really hard to compare and contrast product lines as there are so many specific products within each of the lines.

_Rodrigo is right that in general terms the Professional Mirror Glaze Line is geared for a body shop setting and to cater to their specific needs. These products are usually more effective when used by machine, are available in larger sizes, etc. While many of the Consumer products are more effective by hand or dual action polisher, are in smaller sizes with more exciting labeling, etc.

These are total generalizations though as each individual product will have specific characteristics, and many people will pick and choose products from each of the product lines so that they have the best product for their specific application.
