    Front end now completely rebuilt! pics

    Hey guys so now i have finished rebuilding the front end of the Dart Swinger, ball joints, bushings, shocks, the works. All new, here are some pics of my work i did.

    upper control arm all caked with dirt and mud later cleaned up


    upper arm now off did same to the other side


    nasty old shocks not working so well one is fully compressed and did not return


    new shocks are now in Monroe matic plus nitrogen gas shocks
    passenger side

    driver side


    all done and back together and aligned at the shop this pic is of the driver side looking towards the back of the car, notice the new lower control arm i had to hunt down

    Those new shocks look like they will work much better!

    Good job brother!

    You look pretty young....You keep that up, you'll be building me one in no time!

    Looks like the perfect specimen to put some meguiars products to the test, lol....O_O

    Thanks guys! it was a job getting the upper control arms back in with new bushing, very very tight fit. im going to tinker on the car today and see how well the rest of the car comes out.

    Nice, disc brakes to boot, were they all disc by then or were they still an "upgrade"

    Back in the day i was reading they were an option but still not sure need to do more research, because most came with front disc rear drum even though ive seen some with all drum so i am guessing it was an option. my car was original front disc rear drum car with fixed front calipers not floating so they are a little more efficient for their time.
