Haha! Clearly one of your chemists needs take one for the team and apply it to the cladding of his SUV. Get back to us with the results.

yeah true, but as an ultimate line it would have been nice to see some carnauba too, well, still don't stop me adding to wish list.

I don't understand people's fascination with natural waxes or other products compared to scientific synthetic products.

It's the same reason I only run synthetic in my cars.

But the name "Ultimate" is unimportant, Ron. The important point is that Meguiar's already recently upgraded their Gold Class carnauba wax. Your wish has already come true; it's just come true under a different label.

And that new label is my LSP of choice right now.

Except you can't really argue with how a natural product looks on a car.

I remember someone making a guess in one of the threads on guessing what oyur 2011 products will be... Ultimate wax was that guy's guess.. Bloody good guess! This is awesome, but it will take a while for this wax to make it here.. On a different note, i just got 1 of 2 bottles of meguiar's nxt gen. tech wax 2.0! Right now i have the paste version and now the liquid. Great thing about it is inside the box, i got a small sachet of ultimate compound free. Nice!

I'll be waiting for this ultimate wax.. hopefully it won't take that long

This looks like it is going to be a awesome product. Micro thin technology. Apply in sun or shade. Wow.

Many people simply prefer the look of a carnauba wax so we make both. No one product is perfect for everyone - and that includes oil! You think "wax wars" on detailing forums can get nutty, have you ever seen oil debates on the big oil forum? Crazy stuff!!

                        Re: Ultimate Wax

I'm afraid my username is going to take on a new meaning.

Michael, would you be kind enough to send a little note suggesting I need a trip to California to learn all about the new products?

I just spent the day going over my wife's car with 205 and 21. I may be using a different process in the future. May need some additional training!

She'd be more receptive to the idea, if someone from Meguiar's suggested it would be helpful maintaining HER car!

                        Thanks,

Awesome...Can't wait to try this out. I don't know the science behind it, but it seems a bit weird that it's a higher shine, longer lasting AND easier to apply then NXT2.0. Something has to give?

Looks like I guessed three of the new products correctly in the "2011 Guess Thread." All these new products sound great, can't wait to try them out.
