Recently I took my dark blue 2001 Lexus LS into a detail shop and the detailer used a rotary buffer and removed all the fine scratches using M85 followed by M26. The car looked better than new when it was done.
In a few months I know it will need another buffing since it sits outside and as a result of the the repeated hand washings and other harsh elements the fine scraches will most likely reappear. I would prefer to do the buffing myself next time and use my DA polisher. Should I purchase the M83 and M205 and use those in combination or M105 (which is now made for the DA polisher) and M205? When I read about the agressive cut level of M105 I get concerned that it may burn the clear coat.
I have never used any of these products before so any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
