  • Products I will need to keep on hand for my new Tacoma

    Hello Everybody
I just bought a dark gray 2010 Toyota Tacoma. I have a Porter Cable DA and also have a high speed. My question is what Mag. products do I need to keep on hand and use with the DA to keep my truck looking its best. I've already used the clay bar with great results but I want to keep the finish in its new looking condition. What products do I need to keep on my shelves for long range care?
    Thanks so much

My must haves are UQD, Ult. Protectant, one of the tire shines and D120 Glass Cleaner.....of course plenty of microfiber towels.

Well, that's a start at least!

If you go through the 5 Step Paint Care Cycle it will outline the full regimen for you and, while you may initially think this to be overkill for a new car that isn't necessarily so. We've seen plenty of "new" cars that spent a bit of time on the dealer lot before being snapped up and the paint is often in shockingly rough shape. Some dealers are really good at prepping before delivery while others..... not so much.

It's up to you to learn how to properly evaluate the finish (the 5 Step will teach you that) and then determine what needs to be done to get it where you really want it, and keep it there.

In the most general of terms, however, in addition to the wax mentioned already you should have some quick detail spray, paint cleaner, vinyl protectant, tire protectant, leather products (if the vehicle is so equipped) and plenty of quality microfiber towels. There is no such thing as having too many microfibers on hand.
