I've never used any Meguiar's products in my engine bay, and I've never used a hose on my engine. I pretty much used a bottle of degreaser, a bottle of hot water, and a ton of paper towels and rags. Finished up with Armor all on the hoses, and a detail spray wax on the painted interior pieces. Toothbrushes get recycled into detailers around my house... old socks too.
I hate it when it rains....
