OK first let me say I konw this probably belongs in the wet sanding part but I thought I'd get more hits on it here.
I have a customer that has a 04 toyota Seinna van. That deep metalic red, real sharp color. She hit a deer with it and smacked up the front bumper and fender. She had it painted the the dealer thinking that would be best since it only had 2500 miles on it. Well the first time she picked up the colors didn't match the rest of the van. Now the second time she picked it up it's alot closer than before and shes happy but there is a lot of orange peel or something right above the fog light. It's real rough and has no depth or reflection to it. I"m not sure if you can even call it orange peel it's so rough. I know , but its 13 degrees out with snow so I can't get them right now but once weather breaks I will. back to topic, I'm experienced with wetsanding but I haven't dealt with this extreme before. I"m thinking that I can make it better but not perfect. My concern is that I know they wetsanded it at the dealer since I can still see their sancing marks is that I don't want to take it too thin. Also a plastic bumbper so I can't put a ETG to it either. If anyone has any Ideas please let me know and when I can get a pic I will so you can better understand.
Thanks,
Chubs
