ScratchX 2 -- safe to use on entire car?

Why do the instructions say ScratchX 2 is recommended for "isolated" areas only when the more abrasive Ultimate Compound can be used on the entire car?

A family member washed my car with a broom and now I notice light broom scratches all over my hood.

We don't have SwirlX here. Will ScratchX2 (or even version 1) be able to safely remove these scratches?

Yes, ScratchX 2.0 will work fine for the whole car.

It is recommended for isolated scratches purely because the tube is small. Ultimate Compound comes in a 16 oz. bottle making it much more efficient than Scratchx 2.0 for the entire car.

Never let that family member wash with a brrom again!
