  • Getting rid of odor

I used to work as a quick lube so I would be sweaty after work. Now I have a odor in my car when it gets really hot, like parking out in the sun.

What's the best product to use to get rid of the smell? It is a 06 Civic si with cloth int. I don't have a steamer or anything.

Do you think it is confined to the driver's seat?

A good cleaning or shampooing, extracted with shop vac and/or cotton towels until completely dry usually helps. Then try some Odor Eliminator, I've never tried the Consumer line, only M23, but it has worked for me.

I'm guessing so, but my whole car stinks due to it.

      What kind of shampoo?

Try using some APC+, agitate it with a brush, and use a hot water extractor on it.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

Clean every single surface inside the vehicle with a cotton towel and some APC, then spray some Odor Eliminator on the seats and carpet.

What dilution ratio should I use for interior? 10:1 for APC+?
