Removing scuffs on unpainted plastic bumper?

What is the best way (if any) to remove scuffs on a unpainted plastic bumper? I'm detailing my moms Jeep Liberty for mothers day tomorrow and just trying to figure out what to do about the plastic fenders.

Dont really have many options. Anything to remove scuffs will also remove the texture, so it will still stand out.

You could do a dressing to try and hide the marks some.

Well there is still a white or light gray paint on them as well so it really stands out. What could I use to at least remove the paint marks safely?

So the bumpers of the Liberty are that black/dark gray unpainted plastic but they have paint transfer on them from contact with another vehicle, post or something? You've got a bit of a problem here since any aggressive attempt to remove the paint transfer will run the risk of creating a smooth spot on the textured material of the bumpers. Normally, on a painted surface, we would recommend something like ScratchX 2.0 to remove the paint transfer, but that product is likely to leave some residue in the texture of the plastic, and you don't want that either.

You could try M39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner or a just a good all purpose cleaner with a terry cloth towel to remove the transfer, but take your time so as not to start leveling any texture in the plastic. Apply a good dressing like Ultimate Protectant after cleaning.

If it is untextured plastic you can sand the scratches down and re-dye the bumper.

I think your best option would be to use a all purpose cleaner on them. Anything else and I think you would have more of a reveal, where you tried to make the correction. If you cleaned the entire area ou would have a more uniform look to the area.

Thanks for the suggestions. What I ended up doing was using some simple green and scrubbing with a scrubby sponge. That got the paint marks off, but you could still see the marks in the plastic. I took some UC and applied it using a drill with a foam pad to help hide it some more. I couldn't go too far because like mentioned above it was wearing the texture down. To finish, I applied the mirror glaze vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner too all of the fenders and bumper which deepened the gray plastic very well and made it much less noticeable.

I'll be posting pictures of the entire detail I did on my moms jeep today shortly!
