Yes it is. Mind if we ask why you're curious?

Re: Is Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel solvent based?

I am currently in the process of compiling a list of detailing supplies to order from ADS in June in order to start a small part-time detailing business. I have been looking for something I could apply to tires, and trim if necessary that would last a little water. I would not be happy if I gave a customer a car that had trim dressed with Supreme Shine as it runs so easily. I use Supreme Shine on my trim sometimes but thats because I know that it will run when it rains and that I always have more to apply. Many people, as you know, never even wax thier car, let alone dress their trim so I would want to use something that lasted a little.

I have also been looking at All Season Dressing but I really don't want to buy the gallon (and don't want to keep buying 32 oz bottles as needed) as it will take me 20 years to use it so I was looking for something I could find locally. Advance Auto Parts is the only store I know of that carries UP right now but the closest one to me is like 30 mins away while an Autozone is about 10 mins away (and they cary High Endurance Tire gel).

I know that Meguiars does not recommend using anything except for its specifc purpose and that using any product in a fashion contrary to the former may leave the user with an undesired result (such as slickness in this case of tire gel on trim but I wouldn't use it in places where the customer would step).

If you plan on starting a small time detailing business, then a gallon of ASD will not last twenty years as you say.

Sounds like a good way to go given your particular circumstances and needs. Nice to see people thinking things through!

I agree with Nick. A gallon of asd will not last you a 20 years. Maybe 2 years if that. I would seriously give asd a look. It is imo a great dressing for tires and exterior trim.

Alright, I think I am going to go with a gallon of ASD. Thanks Tuck and JA. You guys are always spot on with advice!
