Meguiars M82 VS 205 (swirl free product)

I just noticed that there is the Meguiars M82 (swirl remover) and the Meguiars 205 (ultra finishing polish).

Both products promises the same "swirls and holograms free" .. but which is the difference? Which is better? Which is less agressive?

In short, 82 uses diminishing abrasives technology and is our least aggressive cleaner polish. It was formulated years ago for fresh paint and many people still really enjoy using it. 205 came out last year and uses a more modern technology called super micro abrasive technology (the abrasive do not brake down during the buffing cycle). As paint has changed in the past 5-10 so have our polishes to stay up with the latest technology. 205 is going to give you the best buffing experience, deepest wet look, and best in class finish polish. Is one better than the other, not necessarily, it all depends on what you are looking for.

which is easy to apply by hand? I want to take swirls off my sister's car

What is the application process for each one?

If you are talking about those two products only, 205 will be easier than 82. If you are working by hand only, and the swirls are really deep, I would try 105.
