  • 1956 Ford F100 fresh build "ONE BAD FORD"

I was visiting Bob at BOBCO a couple of weeks ago discussing future build plans for my own 53 F100, Bob mentioned to me that he wanted to introduce me to the owner of this new build he had just completed. So I spoke to the owner and made arraingements to see him on Dec 22 to perform my services.
I proceeded to perform a complete paint correction from the interior dash to the gravel pan on this stunning 1956 Ford F100. This "Effie" has been with the same owner for over 17 years and has taken over 3 years to build. For Christmas 2009 he wanted nothing more than to reunite himself with the finally finished truck and share it with his family and friends. So after the upholstery shop did their magic and this fat fendered Ford was back with the owner once again, I recieved a call.........
Upon arrival I performed my inspection and "WOW" what an awesome build! The paint and bodywork which was extemely custom, not only in color but quality was exceptional.
Built and painted by BOBCO and detailed by Innovative Detailing......see for yourself!.

The next photos show the inspecton pics

Lots of halograms and buffer trails

    The paint correction begins

    Thorough claying of all surfaces

50/50 shot after 1 pass with rotary and M205

    Side view mirrors removed

    Billet wheels polished and detailed

After a complete pass jeweling the paint with the rotary it's time for the D/A

Better pull the truck out and inspect before it gets dark

Some motor shots after detailing the engine

    After completion photos

Here is one of my 53 Ford "OLSKL53" its my backup mobile detailing rig

OLSKL53 easy paint to care for, flat black...no polishing required!
    Thank you for viewing.....Happy Holidays

I wish I got more vehicles with paint like that. Nothing makes me happier than seeing paint go from "less than" to perfect with nothing but M205 and a rotary!

You did GREAT work... truly beautiful after shots.

To begin with this is a beautiful truck. Nicely re-done not over exaggerated. The after shots really turn the truck into what it really should look like. Awesome job.

Thanks for all the great comments on this awesome 56 Ford F100 detailing project.....

Last month I was asked by the owner to provide another complete detail on this awesome ride for its debut in Classic Trucks Magazine...

**Here is the write up for the truck in the July 2011
                            Classic Trucks Magazine**

We even got mentioned on the 2nd page spec chart for detailing and polishing for the photo shoot.

Here are some of my own photos from the project.....
