Thursday Night Open Garage
It's one thing to read about a process on a forum, or even see a video of it, but there's nothing like the hands on experience to clear up all kinds of questions when it comes to detailing a car.
That's what a Meguiar's TNOG is all about. A couple times a month during Daylight Saving Time (2010 Thursday Night Open Garage Schedule) we open up our garage to all members of MOL so that you can come on down and learn proper technique from the trained staff here at Meguiar's. Have a stubborn area on your paint that's been frustrating you? Want to compare interior protectants or tire shines? Curious about how different waxes perform? Well, you can try all this and more. All of our products are available for you to try out, we'll even show you how to make proper use of the G110v2 dual action polisher.
Keep in mind that we have limited space - just a couple of bays in the garage - and we don't have time to do a complete detail on your car, but you will gain a lot of knowledge that can be applied in your next detailing session.
Of course we do insist that you sign up first by simply responding to the appropriate thread. We ask this so that we have enough product on hand, and so we can order enough pizza to feed everyone, too. Yes, that's right - we even feed you at TNOG! Best of all, this is all at no cost to you!
One last thing - if you want to work on your car it must be washed before you arrive, since we do not allow carwashing on the premises.
