  • 2004 Dodge Ram "Super Bee" Part 2

Now that we've introduced our new products for 2010 we can show you some of those new toys in action on the custom Dodge Ram "Super Bee" we prepped for SEMA.

Here is a first shot of the new G110v2 in the wild, so to speak. You can clearly see the side ports for access to the brushes for easy maintenance, just as you would find on most professional rotary buffers.

Here's the same tool fitted with an S3BP 3" backing plate and a W9204 - 4" Soft Buff™ Foam Finishing Pad. Next to it are the W8204 polishing pad and W7204 cutting pad.

A couple shots of the G110v2 in action with the W8204 4" Soft Buff™ Foam Polishing Pad.

Here's a good indicator of the size and ergonomics of the S3HP 3” Unigrit™ Hand Pad and a shot of it in action polishing up the tail lights on the truck.

Sanding & finishing discs, these of the 6" variety. Sanding discs are a film type disc while the finishing discs make use of a foam backing for a more refined finish to the surface. In the second shot you can clearly see the foam backing of the finishing disc on the left.

Here are the air tools (both D/A and rotary) from the Headlight & Spot Repair Kit.

And here the tools are being used for wet sanding and buffing of smaller pieces yet to be fitted to the truck. These smaller pads are perfect for this type of work!

And here the 3" Easy Buff Knitted Wool Pad is demonstrated on the lower rocker panel body kit of the truck.

The sanding discs, small pads and new tools, including the G110v2, helped make this buff out a huge success!

If you missed Part 1 of this project you can see it HERE.

No, that's a full size backing plate. We noticed a deeper mark that wouldn't buff out so it's being sanded a bit. Notice the almost pinkish color at the edge of the backing plate? Notice the almost pinkish color of the sanding discs at the top of this thread? There ya go.

Part 3 involves the use of some products that aren't quite out yet. It will come along as we introduce those new products. And, no, you don't have to wait for SEMA 2010 for these!!!

Well, it almost has to be something for the interior or something like a LSP because that last photo looks mighty good to me. Yay for new products. NXT 3.0!!

OK, I'm confused. Are you releasing some more new products? When? Come on now, don't do this to me again!
