I'm still more interested in #16 and can't find it nowhere near here nor on e-bay or amazon right now.

So, if Meguiars' longest lasting wax is the TechWax 2.0, then Gold Class Carnauba Plus is the second longest lasting wax? Is the durability better than the original TechWax?

By the way, this is a great wax on top of TechWax 2.0.

Hmmm..... you're getting to almost a hair splitting situation now. NXT and M21 are full synthetics so they're going to outlast carnauba products, but M20 is sort of a polymer/carnauba hybrid so odds are it will outlast a "pure" carnauba like M26 or Gold Class. What you should really concentrate on is how well you're prepping the surface, how well your maintaining the finish, how often you're waxing, and what looks best to your eyes. All of these are more important that trying to determine which wax will give you an extra month, week or whatever of protection.

i tried the GC CP paste. its amazing how little product you need to do an entire panel. you literally just dab your applicator pad into the tin and just wax away

You'll get a lot by justing dabbing the Hi-Tech applicator on to the wax. I was amazed on how much I can get done by just dabbing.

Carnauba over 2.0 is the way to go! I washed(GC), clayed(SS Clay Kit), cleaned(UC), applied NXT2.0 to my 2007 red Suburban last weekend (big job); It looked great! Yesterday I washed (GC) then applied carnauba(M26 liquid). The result is simply amazing, I can't believe how the M26 enhanced the look; the color is deeper than ever and the shine is a head turner, the wife even noticed. The only thing left is to see how long it holds up to northeast Ohio weather.

Not sure how you can make that distinction. Both M26 and Gold Class are also carnauba/polymer hybrids. It says so on the product descriptions. Megs doesn't have a pure carnauba.

Whats the difference between GC Wax and M26 if they are both carnuba/polymer hybrids?

From what I can tell GC has lots of polishing oils. Also, (as I understand it) the new GC may have some cleaners in it too. #26 doesn't.

A fine distinction perhaps. The "polymer" portion of the M26 or Gold Class blends is minimal when compared to "polymer" portion of M20, while M21 and NXT are essentially all "polymer".

So, while both a 99% carnauba/1% polymer and a 1% carnauba/99% polymer are essentially hybrids, they would be quite different animals.

Also, please note that those "blend percentages" are for reference purposes only, just to make the point. They have no bearing on any real world product.
