Here is the April mystery car. I think it is a 1967 plymouth valiant wagon. Any help?

It's a '66. The entire Valiant line was redone for 1967 and there was no wagon available that year.

As I have mentioned before, if I get help and win the contest with that help, I will split the $175 cash. I have now won 4 times, each time without help. Here is the latest mystery car. I'm thinking 70's or 80's Lincoln convertible?

It's a '71 to '73 Mercury Cougar Convertible. I'd like to narrow it down to a single year, but I can't discern any differences from '71 to '73 from a side shot.

Well, I am stumped on the Oct. car. I think it is a Buick RIVERA, 1965 to 1970?

Your thumbnails won't enlarge when clicked on, so it's very difficult to tell, but the heavy front bumper tells me it's a '68-'69.
'66-'67 models (my favorite Rivs BTW) had smaller bumpers and the '70 had some revisions to the smooth bodywork of the earlier models.

Bill, you nailed it, again. With your info, I found the exact pic he used. 1968 BUICK RIVERA. Here it is. You get half the cash if I win.

That would be cool. It's been over 50 years since I got any benefit from ID'ing cars. When I was a little kid, before grade school, I learned to read by studying the front end pictures and descriptions in my Dad's mid-50's Motor's Auto Repair Manual. My grandfather would often take me to a local bar and bet a shot and beer that his little grandson could tell you what kind of car you had parked outside. At the time I had no idea what he was up to. All I knew was that every time I went outside to look at someone's car, I'd get a fresh glass of pop and some pretzels or pistachios when I came back in. It wasn't until long after he died that one of his neighbors told me the story. If I wind up with some winnings, I'll have to go back to one of the bars in his old neighborhood and have a beer in his memory.
