Can you help me name this car?

A local paper here runs photos asking for year, make, and model for a car pictured. The picture shown here is a pin of the pic in the paper - best I could do. Any help on this Ford?



If I win once, I will post more and draw a helper to share later prizes.

I think the pic came out too big. Will work on that.

OK, I'm going to guess that it is a 1963 or a 1964 Ford Falcon, probably more likely a 1964, considering the more square front end as well as the side trim piece. Some other pics I found of Ford Falcons:

Gosh darn it, Tim, I think you're right. The Falcon and the Galaxie look very similar to me. Of course, that's just me.

I'm with Tim on this one. The picture he posted is identical to the one from the newspaper. Even the wheel skirts are the same. Nice job, Tim.

I agree with Tim. That was my first thought. I did not believe it was a Falcon. The Falcon from 64 is a dream car of mine. I will own one some day.

Tim is right on the money.It also appears this is a bottom of the line model. It may be a Galaxie 500 with the top of the line model that year being a Galaxie XL .
