Mike, It was another great TNOG!
Watching Bob remove the DISO from the hood on his 2010 Camero with the G110, 2.0 black finishing pad, and M205 worked like magic. That Victory Red paint finished perfect. It looked so deep and glossy you would have sworn it already had an LSP applied.

Looks like you all had a great Open Garage! Is the hood on the Camaro fiberglass? I was wondering if there would be issues with heat buildup while machine polishing if the use of a rotary should ever be necessary.

That is the factory hood so it is not fiberglass. But you are absolutely right - heat dissipation with a fiberglass substrate is different than that of steel or aluminum so you need to be careful when using any machine technique that can introduce a lot of heat, and that includes 4" pads on a D/A. Of course, the same can be said of working on the bumper covers on virtually all modern cars.
