I will swear by this from now on

I have a 2009 Hyundai Elantra SE which I purchased 3 weeks ago. On this past Wednesday I noticed some marks in the paint. Well I used a standard rubbing compound on the marks, and only succeeded in swirling up the surface. After getting over the initial shock, I contacted Meguiars directly. The person I spoke to, suggested Ultimate Compound. I purchased some today, and it worked awesomely. I couldn't be happier. Meguiars has another satisfied customer. Could someone out there recommend a Meguiars wax for my ride. I live in New Jersey, and we have some very harsh weather. I would like to hand apply it, as I don't own a polisher. Thanks in advance.

I moved this to "Product Raves" since it seemed like the best fit

Glad you loved the product Jerry, most do!

Meguiar's Wax? Easy to obtain stuff would be NXT 2.0 or Gold Class Wax. NXT 2.0 has better durability, beads water better, and overall looks great. But personal preference on dark colored cars is either Gold Class Wax or Meguiar's #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax.

I would look into soemthing like the Cleaner/Wax or ColorX topped with Nxt 2.0.

You can also look into something like claying, which helps.

    Another vote for NXT 2.0

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

I would definitely clay your car and then use either the Gold Class or nxt 2.0 your choice.
