    a bottle of #20 with an "off" smell

    It doesn't have that banana smell, it's more of a "sick" smell. The bottle is about 2 years old, and hasn't been frozen or overheated.

    1) Has anyone else ever experienced this?

    2) do I have to send it back to get a replacement? (I will, it's not a big deal, I just want to know.)

    As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

      Hi Tom,

      If you shake it up well, and then pour some out and apply it, let it dry and then remove it, does it perform okay?

      If you're in doubt of the products integrity, call Tom McDonald at 1-800-854-8073 ext. 117 and tell him "Mike sent you", and he'll send you out a new bottle of the #20 Polymer Sealant.

        Mike,

        First, Thanks! The product seems to perform OK, but it's unpleasant to use. It has a faintly vomity odor.

        Second, it's right upon opening the bottle, after shaking it, and while using it. It smells like an organic growth of some kind, actually. It might be worthwhile for Meg's to check it out; that's why I asked if it was a known issue, or if someone else had experienced it. I wouldn't mind sending it back, if it helps make a better product I'm in. I'll ask Tom for the address.
