Up for sale is a mint in box Porter Cable 7428 Circular/Rotary Polisher. I used this for about an hour. Comes with all original accessories and the original box.
Description:
The Porter Cable 7428 circular polisher is actually made in Germany by Flex. Flex is a world leader in polishing machine technology being the innovator of the variable speed trigger. Porter Cable bought Flex a few years ago. In Europe, this machine is still sold under the Flex name, but in the U.S. it is sold under the Porter Cable name.
The 7428, for all its ruggedness, weighs in at 8 lbs. making it comfortable for long term use. The front loop handle (called a bail handle) is preferred by most operators and can be offset on either the right or left side to accommodate left handed users.
Rugged German construction and a powerful 10 amp motor makes this the Mercedes Benz of polishers.
Speed settings:
1 = 1,000 to 1,200 rpm
2 = 1,400 to 1,600 rpm
3 = 1,800 to 2,000 rpm
4 = 2,200 to 2,400 rpm
5 = 2,600 to 2,800 rpm
6 = 3000 rpm
