  • Meguiar's over Zaino on boat?

Have a couple of coats of Zaino (5) on my dark gelcoat (in excellent condition). Okay to overlay with Meguiar's Premium Marine Wax (maybe 2 coats), finished with Ultimate Quik Wax Spray?

    Thanks.

It probably wouldn't hurt anything to apply Meguiar's of the Z-5, hard to say if there would be any compatibility issues or bonding issues. Best thing to do would be to do a test spot by apply the Flagship to a small section, letting it dry and then checking your results.

What kind of boat are you working on?

Thanks--appreciate the response. It's a Tiara. Talked to Meguiar's and they said no need, but the Quik Spray Wax would be good.

I would just layer Z2 on Z5 or more of Z5 just because I know it will bond. Zaino is all about the layers
